Full Journal pdf1996-05-05 House Journal Page 4434 SB 230 A message dated May 5, 1996, was read stating the Senate has failed to concur in the House amendment to CSSB 230(FIN), namely: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 230(FIN) am H An Act relating to management of state land, water, and land and water as part of a state park, recreational or special management area, or preserve; relating to reports to the legislature concerning prohibitions or restrictions of traditional means of access for traditional recreational uses within a park, recreational or special management area, or preserve; relating to Chilkat State Park; and relating to Denali State Park. and respectfully requests the House to recede from its amendment. 1996-05-05 House Journal Page 4435 SB 230 In the event the House failed to recede, the President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the House to consider the bills: Senator Pearce, Chair Senator Miller Senator Zharoff Representative Vezey moved that the House recede from its amendment to CSSB 230(FIN), namely HCS CSSB 230(FIN) am H, and recommended that the members vote no. The question being: Shall the House recede from its amendment to CSSB 230(FIN)? The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSB 230(FIN) am H Recede YEAS: 9 NAYS: 31 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Brown, Davies, Elton, Finkelstein, Grussendorf, Kubina, Navarre, Robinson, Willis Nays: Austerman, Barnes, Brice, Bunde, B.Davis, G.Davis, Foster, Green, Hanley, Ivan, James, Kelly, Kohring, Kott, Long, Mackie, Martin, Masek, Moses, Mulder, Nicholia, Ogan, Parnell, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Sanders, Therriault, Toohey, Vezey, Williams And so, the House failed to recede.
